Coming Live From the City of Rain

If someone reads this I will be very surprised. I know for a fact that no one gives a rip about what I have to say. And believe me when I am not shortchanging myself. This space will serve as my Mexico, a convenient location south of the border that I can run to as a means of escaping the dreary Seattle weather. Welcome all to my Seattle Blues.

I would tell you a little about myself, but if you are reading this there is no chance you don't know me. I have been contemplating starting a blog for a while now but never really had a reason to do so. What I did instead was bombard twitter (@MCschoenfeld, holla at ya boy) with random b.s. that looking back was annoying and for that I apologize. Most of what was I say on twitter requires context. Since graduating in June, life has been whirlwind ride for me, and I have long been looking for a release. I have tried drinking, smoking, rekindling relationships, anything to get my mind right. I think that this blog will be a good way to bring me out of the Blues that I was in.

However, all of that is in the past. I am not here to talk about my issues, quite the opposite actually. Seattle Blues allows me to entertain with long form thoughts. I am entirely selfish in this endeavor. I am writing to get whatever is on my mind off of it. With that said this will not be a sulk fest and not centered around my doings. Literally everything is fair game. Sports, TV, movies, local happenings and whatever comes to mind can, and often will be transcribed. Hopefully it proves to be spontaneous and entertaining for whomever chooses to read.

I leave you with this link. If you haven't seen this video before, you are either not from the 206 or you are living under a rock.
